| Starting with Eos, I will make a little synopsis for each god of the week. Enjoy :3 Eos, Goddess of the DawnQuick FactsParents: Hyperion and Theia Siblings: Helios (god of the sun) and Selene (goddess of the moon) Powers:Causes moon to rise, sun to shine. Opens gates for Helios's sun chariot. Controls the time of day. Kind of Apollo and Artemis's servant. ExtrasHistory with Love:Eos once had a fling with Ares, and Aphrodite was very upset. As a punishment, Aphrodite sentenced that the goddess of the dawn would forever be uncontrollably in love. As a result, Eos has been know throughout mythology to have had children and run away with mortals and mythological figures alike. She mostly kidnapped the men and hid them away for herself. Think of the Children:This goddess has many kids. She is mainly known for being the mother of the winds—from North to South—the morning and evening stars, and 4 planets. She also had Emathion and Memnon. Memnon died in the Trojan War, even after Eos tried to save him. ~ ~ ~ EOS ~ ~ ~ | |

With his winged sandals, he also is the face of sports and athletics. Inventions you see over the centuries are Hermes’s doing. The cotton gin, telephones, cell phones, computers, Macs, Internet, etc. In the Percy Jackson and the Olympian novels, he runs a postal service for all gods and mythological creatures. He is also pictured as a prankster. ExtrasChick Magnet:The messenger god is associated with several women, too many to list. He also had many children. One of these children was believed to be the god of the wild, Pan. There are any number of mothers for this god. Only Friends:Hermes is often depicted carrying a caduceus, a staff with two snakes intertwined up the shaft. To be more modern and efficient, the god keeps it as a cell phone.
